Today technology is unstoppable, we already seen and used the Sony PSP and the Sony Ericsson Xperia phone. But this one is a combination of both technology together, how amazing it is and advanced.

In the absence of major competitor Apple, Sony Ericsson has used the Mobile World Congress 2011 event in Barcelona to unveil the hotly-anticipated Sony Ericsson Xperia Play handset, also known as "Sony PSP Phone". The phone features a slide-out control panel with a game pad and buttons similar to that of a PSP, from which users can control games played out on the 4-inch multi-touch screen, powered by a 16GHz processor.

This smartphone runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and PlayStation titles will be enabled by the PlayStation Suite on the phone. The Sony PSP Phone has said up to 50 titles will be available when the phone is launched. The handset is not just about games, however, with a 5MP camera on board as well as HD video and the full range of features found on the original Xperia. Life is handy with this Sony PSP Phone, we have are PSP at the same time our cellphone in our pocket.

A launch date of March 31st has been put on the Xperia Play.
